Selah

'Selah' is the word used in the Hebrew psalms for a musical interlude or rest. Though I love and miss the "singing" of healthy life God has me in a interlude of selah. i'm stilled while His music carries on.

The rose petals in this picture remind me of sea billows. Selah, ie rest, often isn't a pillow of roses but an ocean storm where "sea billows roll." May we recognize those sea billows as God's rose petals---intended for our greatest good and God's glory.
